I've been obsessed by what it means to invest in people and their dreams since the early days of ISAs v1.0 in 2013 (rip Pave & Upstart 1.0) before I knew venture was a thing. A storyteller obsessed with the storytellers (founders) building tomorrow, I grew from a non traditional background of writing, to venture investing at First Round, later joining Clay as the 4th employee to lead all things go to market, growth and operations, and investing independently with the scout community at Sequoia.
These days, lucky enough to lead some of the biggest dreamers I know, craft go to market motions, and tell big bold stories as the Storytelling Lead at The Browser Company.
A couple of thoughts on backing the brilliant ones here (On operating with unbridled optimism) and what founder market fit can feel like here (The people's champ must be everything the people can't be).
